A delicious Puerto Rican Beef Stew, Carne Guisada, perfect for dinner and lunch leftovers. The beef is seasoned with oregano, adobo, and vinegar and then cooked with sofrito, tomato sauce, and broth, simmered to perfection. Optional diced potatoes can be added for a heartier meal.

What you need
tbsp oregano

tbsp olive oil

tbsp white vinegar
tbsp adobo sauce
tbsp sazon

cup onion

cup tomato sauce

cup beef broth

bay leaf
salt & pepper
purple potatoes
Instructions
1: Season meat with oregano, adobo, and vinegar and marinate for 1 hour up to overnight. 2: Add olive oil to your pot and cook meat until the pink is gone. 3: Add sofrito, tomato sauce, Sazón, and cover with broth. 4: Add the bay leaf and season with salt and pepper to taste. 5: Bring to a boil and then lower your heat to a bubbly simmer. 6: Cook with lid on for 30-45 minutes. 7: Add diced potatoes in the last 15 minutes of cooking.View original recipe
